Delete your account

This page is for The Pantry (thepantry.app), by Experienced Results. You can have your account and all of its data deleted at any time.

Delete it yourself, right in the app

Sign in, then open Profile (your avatar in the top bar, or thepantry.app/profile).
Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account…
Enter your password, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete forever.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. The same steps work in the iOS and Android apps and on the website.

Prefer to ask us instead?

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account".
Send it from the email address on your account, or include your username, so we can confirm the account is yours.
We will confirm and delete the account, normally within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your account (username, display name, email, password)
Your kitchen data: inventory items, personal recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, favorites, and notes
Your billing link to Stripe (any active subscription is cancelled)

What may be kept, and for how long

Recipes you shared with the community are removed along with your account.
Encrypted backups age out on a rolling schedule and are fully cleared within 30 days of deletion.
Payment records held by Stripe are kept as required for tax and accounting law.

You can also delete individual items, recipes, meal plans, and grocery entries inside the app at any time without deleting your account.
