Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup of warm water
- 1 packet of active dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 3 cups of bread flour
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of oil
Steps
- Add the active dry yeast and sugar to the water and let it sit for 10 minutes to get frothy.
- In a large bowl, add the flour and the salt and mix it together.
- Pour the yeast mixture into the flour and add the 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Combine with a spatula or your hands until it just starts to come together.
- Turn out dough onto a clean, floured work area and begin kneading for 10 minutes until the dough forms a smooth ball.
- Coat a mixing bowl with a small amount of oil and place your dough ball into the oil flipping it over so that both sides are oiled.
- Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 90 minutes to rise.
- After 90 minutes, punch down the dough, remove it from the bowl and section into desired portions.
- Bake at 450 for 15-20 minutes.
